In the center of Mykolaiv, a collision occurred between a Scania and a Volkswagen, causing a massive traffic jam.

On the evening of Thursday, November 21, a collision occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue and Sadovaya Street in Mykolaiv involving a Scania truck and a Volkswagen Passat.

This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N” at the scene of the incident.

Both vehicles were traveling along the avenue from the direction of 6th Slobodskaya Street towards the city center. At the intersection, the driver of the truck in the middle lane began to turn right onto Sadovaya Street, heading towards Bolshaya Morskaya Street. However, the driver failed to notice the Volkswagen in the right lane, which was also turning onto Bolshaya Morskaya. Consequently, the vehicles collided.

No injuries were reported in the accident. Both vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

The collided cars occupied two of the three lanes on Central Avenue, resulting in a massive traffic jam that extended all the way to 6th Slobodskaya Street.
