In the center of Mykolaiv, a police car collided with a Nissan, resulting in one person injured.

On the morning of Friday, January 24, a collision occurred at the intersection of Sadovaya and Kropivnitskogo (Potemkinskaya) streets in Mykolaiv involving a police car, a Renault Logan, and a Nissan X-Trail crossover.

This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N.”

The Nissan, traveling along Sadovaya Street from the direction of Central Avenue towards Bolshaya Morskaya Street, failed to yield to the police Renault, which was moving along Kropivnitskogo Street from the direction of 3rd Slobodskaya Street towards Ingenernaya Street.

After the collision, both vehicles abruptly changed their trajectories, with the Nissan veering onto the sidewalk near the pedestrian crossing.

As a result of the accident, one of the police officers in the vehicle sustained injuries. The injured officer was taken from the scene by ambulance. Both vehicles sustained significant mechanical damage.

The intersection of Kropivnitskogo and Sadovaya streets is an equal priority intersection, therefore the Nissan driver was required to yield to the approaching police vehicle from the right side.
