A massive traffic jam has formed in the center of Mykolaiv due to a car accident.

On the afternoon of Sunday, March 2, vehicles Nissan Tiida and Hyundai ix35 collided at the intersection of Central Avenue and 6th Slobodskaya Street.

This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N” at the scene.

Both cars were traveling on 6th Slobodskaya Street from the direction of the "Narodny Sad" park and were turning left at the intersection onto Central Avenue towards Kherson Highway. The driver of the Nissan stopped before the crosswalk to let pedestrians pass, and at that moment, the Hyundai struck it from behind.

As a result of the accident, no one was injured, but both vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

The accident blocked two out of three lanes on the avenue, causing traffic congestion on Central Avenue and 6th Slobodskaya.
