In Mykolaiv, a collision between a Renault and a Volkswagen completely blocked the street.

On the evening of Wednesday, December 4, a collision occurred at the intersection of Chkalova Street and 1st Slobodskaya Street in Mykolaiv involving a Renault Master truck and a Volkswagen Passat car.

This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N” who was present at the scene.

Both vehicles were traveling along 1st Slobodskaya Street towards Pogranichnaya Street. On the boulevard section of Chkalova Street, the truck driver decided that he was too close to the tram tracks and began to reverse, hitting the approaching Volkswagen from behind.

As a result of the accident, no one was injured. Both vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

Due to the collision, traffic on 1st Slobodskaya Street at the intersection with Chkalova Street was blocked in both directions: half of the roadway was occupied by a fence typically used to block off areas under repair, while the other half was taken up by the collided vehicles.
