Fatal car accident in Mykolaiv region: a passenger vehicle was crushed, resulting in the driver's death (photos included).

On the morning of Saturday, November 30, around 07:10, a traffic accident occurred on the N-24 highway "Blagoveshchensk – Mykolaiv" within the Novoodeska community.

This information was reported by the communication department of the Mykolaiv region police.

It was noted that a passenger car, a Mitsubishi Lancer, collided with a DAF truck with a semi-trailer.

As a result of the collision, the 46-year-old driver of the passenger car died at the scene. The truck driver refused hospitalization.

Currently, police are investigating all circumstances and causes of the incident.

Investigators have classified the event as a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by individuals managing vehicles, resulting in the death of the victim." The penalty for this offense can be up to eight years of imprisonment.
