Near Mykolaiv, a father accidentally ran over his three-year-old son while reversing - the boy is in intensive care

On March 1st, at approximately 1:35 PM, an accident occurred in the village of Voskresenske involving a Mersedes-Benz vehicle driven by a 40-year-old man and a three-year-old boy.

This information was reported by the communication department of the Mykolaiv region police.

At the scene, police determined that the driver, while reversing, failed to ensure the safety of the maneuver and struck his own young son, who was standing behind the vehicle.

As a result of the accident, the child was hospitalized in the intensive care unit with injuries.

Investigators have classified the incident as a criminal offense under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
