A collision occurred on the highway in the Mykolaiv region involving a Mercedes and a Volkswagen – one person hospitalized
On Sunday, October 27, an accident took place on the N-24 "Mykolaiv-Blahovishchenske" highway involving a Mercedes-Benz minibus and a Volkswagen Polo sedan.
This was reported by the Voznesensk district police department.
At around 1:00 PM, on the N-24 "Mykolaiv-Blahovishchenske" highway within the Voznesensk district, a traffic accident occurred involving a Mercedes-Benz minibus driven by a 59-year-old man and a Volkswagen Polo operated by a 39-year-old man.
As a result of the incident, the sedan left the roadway and overturned. The driver of the sedan was hospitalized in serious condition, while a 44-year-old passenger in the Volkswagen was unharmed.
“The 59-year-old driver of the minibus has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and under the procedural guidance of the Voznesensk District Prosecutor's Office, he has been informed of suspicion.
Currently, police are investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident.
