The units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone systems, in collaboration with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Bryansk chemical plant located in the city of Seltsy – a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex.
This was reported by the Command of the Drone Forces.
The plant manufactures gunpowder, explosives, and components for rocket fuel, including ammunition for artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), aviation, winged air-to-surface missiles Kh-59, TOC-1 "Tosochka" weaponry, the remote mining system "Zemledelie", and also carries out major repairs of MLRS "Grad", "Uragan", and "Tornado-G".
It is noted that this operation exemplified coordination among reconnaissance, missile troops, reactive artillery, and drone systems. Drones successfully diverted Russian air defense, paving the way for missiles that accurately struck primary targets. Furthermore, long-range UAVs destroyed substations and other critical infrastructure following the missile strike.
“The flawless synchronization of the actions of the Drone Forces, HUR, SSO, SBU, and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the message states.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that Russia claims there was a massive drone attack on regions during the night of January 14. Local residents reported a large fire in the vicinity of the "Kazan Orgsintez" plant.
