According to the program's guest, it is evident that Trump wants to end the war, at least because he is interested in business, and he has no ties to the defense industry, hence he won’t profit from it. Furthermore, he adds, Trump has the means to stop the war, as he can exert pressure on all parties involved in the conflict as the President of the United States.

“We assume there will be some sort of pause. Many of my Ukrainian friends (by the way, I also have relatives living in Ukraine) say that in this case, everything will be very bad for us, that Putin will heal his wounds and come after us again. Putin won’t heal anything; he won’t be able to reverse this situation. He will lose the country; it will slip through his fingers like sand. Putin will face disaster because no one will forgive him, and he will be pressured, the Russian economy will be crushed,” explains Rostislav Murzagulov.

As he claims, Putin will immediately lose his army; the mobilized troops and contract soldiers, who were forced to stay at the front, will scatter from the combat line and will not be found again. Regarding the defense industry, the expert continues, it will take 5 years to restore Russia's military potential to the level of February 2022, which was the level at which they couldn’t defeat Ukraine, especially when it didn’t have Western weapons yet.

“Are you suggesting that this Russia will become something better? It will continue to collapse; they will steal even more. And you want to say that in just a few years they will restore such potential to (edit - defeat) Ukraine, which the West will bolster with military support and business investments?” concludes Rostislav Murzagulov.
