Despite the state of war and geopolitical turbulence, the National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve "Pereyaslav" (General Director – Alexey Lukasevich) consistently honors Ukrainian national traditions and folk customs. Therefore, our team at the "Native Country" Foundation joyfully responded to the invitation from the Reserve's team and traditionally prepared gifts for the most clever participants of this folk event. Sports equipment, backpacks, the "Fighting Shevchenko," and a Ukrainian children's book from our team are aimed at engaging the younger generation in an active and sporty lifestyle as well as encouraging them to read Ukrainian literature.

Among the numerous folk groups participating in Kolodiya-Maslenitsa-2025, the folk ensemble "Hromytsia," representing the Ukrainian capital, received the most support from the audience.

It is also important to highlight the active civic stance of the NGO "Unconquered," which held another charitable campaign during the event to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The folk celebration concluded with the burning of the effigy of Masha. Given the current global events, the organizers might consider preparing a new version of a modern male effigy.

At the same time, all participants of the event were convinced that SPRING and UKRAINE – WILL TRIUMPH.
