Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed a new permanent representative in Crimea. The position has been filled by Olha Mykolayivna Kurysko.
The relevant decree was published on the president's official website.
“Appoint Kurysko Olha Mykolayivna as the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the decree states.
Kurysko joined the Representation team in December 2021. She participated in the development of strategic documents regarding the reintegration of Crimea and worked on legislative acts to protect the rights of residents of the occupied peninsula, reported the Representation.
“In her new role, Olha Kurysko, along with the Representation team, will continue to implement already initiated initiatives and work on strengthening the body in its key mission – the de-occupation of Crimea, the protection of its residents' rights, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, and supporting reintegration processes,” the message states.
