The Economic Court of Donetsk region made a ruling on November 7 regarding the bankruptcy of PrJSC "CZF Ukraine" located in the city of Ukrainka – one of the three coal factories owned by the arrested businessman Vitaliy Kropachov.
This information is reported in the court register.
According to the data from this register, the enterprise was unable to meet the creditors' demands.
The financial troubles of the factory began long before the Russian occupation of Ukrainka. The bankruptcy procedure was initiated back in 2020, shortly after Kropachov acquired the company from Oleksandr Yanukovych, the son of the former president of Ukraine.
The court has halted the asset management procedure and instituted a liquidation process for a period of 12 months. It is important to note that in June 2024, "CZF Ukraine" along with other assets of Kropachov, including the enrichment factory "Ukraine" (formerly "Russia") near Novohrodivka and "Myronivska" in Myronivka, were arrested and transferred to the management of ARMA.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the DBR has informed the actual owner of LLC "Krasnolymanska" Kropachov of suspicions regarding fraudulent activities amounting to 2.2 billion UAH.
