A 15 million UAH bail and travel restrictions have been imposed on the husband of MP Kormyshkina as a preventive measure.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for Yuriy, the husband of People's Deputy Iryna Korymshkina, in the form of a bail set at 15 million UAH.

This information became known during the online broadcast of the High Anti-Corruption Court session.

According to investigative authorities, between 2021 and 2022, the deputy acquired a sum exceeding 20 million UAH. This amount significantly surpasses her official income, the NABU added. Law enforcement data indicates that she subsequently lent part of this money to her husband, who used it to purchase a house in the Odesa region. Currently, the couple resides in this property.

However, Korymshkin stated in court that he did not buy the house with this money. According to him, he lent nearly 20 million UAH to his business partner.

“I received funds from Iryna Valeriivna as a loan, which I provided to my business partner Kovalyu Volodymyr Ivanovych at the beginning of 2024, when there had been neither a search nor suspicion against Iryna Valeriivna. I submitted a declaration indicating that I lent 20 million UAH to Kovalyu Volodymyr Ivanovych, who at that time was a deputy in the local council of Kyiv region. He also reflected this in his declaration,” Korymshkin explained.

In court, Korymshkin stated that he needs to travel abroad for treatment related to his injury.

“I need to travel outside of Ukraine, to various countries, including Austria, where I undergo spinal procedures 1-2 times a month to alleviate pain, so that I can walk. And each time I return to Ukraine,” Korymshkin said.

Despite this, VAKS Judge Ihor Strohiy decided to prohibit the entrepreneur from leaving the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions without the knowledge of the detectives.

He is suspected of legalizing property obtained through criminal means and declaring false information as a former deputy of the regional council.
