A businessman from Volyn will face a fine of 1.3 million UAH for selling fuel without a license.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the man was not registered as an excise tax payer.

Employees of the State Tax Service discovered a farm in the Volodymyr region whose owner was selling fuel at retail without a license. For this, the entrepreneur was fined 1.3 million UAH, reported on November 13 by the Main Department of the State Tax Service of the Volyn region.

Officials from the excise goods control department found that the farm owner not only sold and stored fuel without the necessary licenses but also was not registered as an excise tax payer.

“For the violations committed, the business entity will face financial penalties exceeding 1.3 million UAH”, – stated the tax service.

The Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Volyn region emphasizes: if you have information regarding the sale, storage of fuel, and counterfeit alcoholic beverages and tobacco products that lack the established excise tax stamps, or the trading of fuel, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products without the required licenses, it is important to report this by calling (0332) 777-152.
