Waiting for snow in winter isn't always easy, but if your passion for active winter recreation aligns with the weather conditions, we have a selection of recreational complexes in the Lviv region for you. Skis, snowboards, sleds, tubes… The season is open, although not everywhere.

The best ski lifts in Lviv region that have already opened for the season: services, prices, locations, routes, and photos – everything is in our selection. You can view it in just a few minutes. Before visiting the resorts, it's important to consider the weather conditions.

Emily Resort

The closest recreational complex to Lviv where you can ski or sled is Emily Resort in Vynnyky. Here, there are three ski slopes of varying difficulty with lengths of 595, 528, and 475 meters, equipment rental is available, instructors are on duty, and snow cannons are also present. The complex also features an ice rink and snow tubing with a children's slide for riding.

The cost of a single lift is 150 UAH. The price for a ski pass for the ski slopes from 09:00 to 16:00 is 800 UAH on weekdays and 900 UAH on weekends and holidays; if you ski in the evening (from 17:00 to 21:00), the prices will be 500 and 600 UAH respectively. A full-day pass costs 1200 UAH on weekdays and 1300 UAH on weekends and holidays. The complex offers the option to purchase passes for several days or for a month.

At Emily Resort, you can rent equipment for both adults and children. For instance, the cost of an adult set is 600 UAH, and for a children's set, it is 450 UAH. The instructor's fee (for skiing or snowboarding) starts at 1000 UAH for an hour of individual lessons on weekdays. Prices for snow tubing are as follows: 3 rides – 300 UAH on weekdays and 400 UAH on weekends, 5 rides – 400 and 500 UAH respectively, 7 rides – 600 and 700 UAH respectively. The recreational complex also has an ice rink with skate rentals and the option to hire an instructor. 45 minutes on the ice rink for an adult with skate rental will cost 250 UAH on weekdays and 350 UAH on weekends; without skate rental – 200 and 250 UAH respectively.

Boryslav

Boryslav hosts the ski resort “Bukovytsia.” Here, there are slopes of medium difficulty (850 m), easy level (950 m), and a children's slope (250 m). Before visiting the resort, it's advisable to check the weather conditions, as skiing is only possible in snowy weather.

A single lift on the chairlift costs 200 UAH on weekdays and 250 UAH on weekends; on the tow lift – 100 UAH on weekdays and 120 UAH on weekends; and on the Multilift – 70 and 80 UAH respectively. The cost of a three-hour pass is 650 UAH on weekdays and 700 UAH on weekends; for half a day – 600 UAH and 650 UAH respectively; and for a full day – 800 UAH and 900 UAH respectively.

At the resort, you can rent equipment. A complete set, for example, costs 350 UAH on weekdays and 400 UAH on weekends. You can also separately purchase poles, skis or snowboard, boots, and a helmet.

If you don't know how to ski, there is a ski school at the resort. One hour of individual instruction costs 900 UAH on weekdays and 1000 UAH on weekends; two hours – 1600 UAH and 1800 UAH respectively; each additional hour is 600 UAH. Group lessons are available at a lower price. Everyone can also enjoy tubing: a full-day pass costs 650 UAH, a single ride – 150 UAH, and one hour – 300 UAH.

“Plai”

“Plai” is one of the most popular ski resorts in Lviv region. It is located near the village of Plav’ye in Skole district and offers five slopes of varying difficulty levels. The ski runs are not illuminated, so the lifts operate only until 17:00.

A single lift on the tow lift costs 120 UAH, and on the chairlift, one lift costs 300 UAH. The half-day pass ranges from 850 UAH to 950 UAH. Day passes are also available for one or several days. The cost of a day pass is 1250 UAH, a two-day pass costs 2450 UAH, and a three-day pass is 3500 UAH.

You can rent equipment (skis and snowboards), and prices for a set are about 400 UAH (+ 7 – 10 thousand UAH will need to be left as a deposit). Ski services are also available to clients.

The resort has a ski school where you can take individual lessons (one hour – 1100 UAH, two hours – 1900 UAH) and group lessons (from 800 UAH for two hours). The cost of lessons with an instructor includes a ski pass.

“Zahar Berkut”

On Mount Zvorets, located in the village of Volosianka in Skole district, there is another well-known ski resort – “Zahar Berkut.” The mountain features 9 slopes of varying difficulty, suitable for both beginners and confident skiers.

The cost of a full-day ski pass is 950 UAH (1200 UAH during the high season until January 16), and three hours of skiing costs 700 UAH and 800 UAH respectively. Discounts are available for combatants – the cost for a full day is 800 UAH (9500 UAH during the high season).

A complete set of equipment can be rented for 400 UAH, or you can rent poles, skis, helmets, etc. Instructor services will cost from 900 UAH for an hour of individual lessons; if you learn in a group, the cost will be lower. The ski pass is not included in the cost of lessons.
