However, many people mistakenly write it separately as "як раз," which is an error. The reason for this mistake is quite simple: in Russian, the equivalent of the Ukrainian "якраз" is written separately as "как раз."

The variant "як раз" is rarely used in contemporary Ukrainian, primarily appearing in the fixed expression – "як раз і назавжди."
