Как быстро приготовить кутью на Святой вечер без замачивания. Рецепт на сегодня.

Kutya is a key dish for Christmas that holds significant meaning. It is believed that kutya and uzvar must be present on Christmas Eve and at the festive table, as kutya symbolizes the hostess and uzvar symbolizes the host. Here’s how to quickly and easily prepare wheat kutya without soaking, while preserving the flavor, writes Shuba.

Ingredients:

Boil the grain on low heat until cooked, approximately one and a half hours. Then let it cool.

Rinse the poppy seeds under running water, then cover them with boiling water so that the water rises 2-3 fingers above the seeds. Cover with a lid and let it sit until the water cools completely. Skim off anything that rises to the top with a spoon. If you need to prepare the poppy seeds quickly, simply boil them for 30 minutes after reaching a boil.

Chop the walnuts in a blender. A few walnuts can be roughly chopped to decorate the finished kutya.

Drain the poppy seeds, leaving a little water at the bottom, and grind them with sugar in a blender. Mix the poppy seeds and sugar in a 1:1 ratio or to your taste.

Soak the raisins in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water.

Assemble the kutya. In a large bowl, place the cooled grain. Add the poppy seeds, walnuts, and raisins, as well as honey if desired. Mix the dish until homogeneous. Pour in some cooled boiled water or uzvar and stir the kutya to the desired consistency.

Kutya can be served immediately, but it will taste even better if it sits and cools down.
