On the night of February 2, Russian forces launched 55 strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type and imitation drones against Ukraine.

The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and Defense Forces.

Due to the enemy attack, Kharkiv and Sumy regions were affected.
