All participants of the First League have been determined, and they will compete for promotion to the UPL.

The First League is divided into two groups – A and B (based on geographical criteria). At the conclusion of the first half of the season, the teams that finish in the top four positions in both groups will form the Championship Group. The remaining teams will compete in the Relegation Group. Eight teams from the first group will strive for promotion to the top division (UPL), while the other eight will aim to maintain their status and avoid relegation to the third tier.

On Saturday, November 16, several matches took place in the First League of the Ukrainian Championship, resulting in a pool of teams competing for promotion. In one of the matches, Kharkiv's "Metalist" defeated the Zakarpattia's "Mynai" with a score of 3:0, eliminating the latter's chances of returning to the UPL.

It is worth noting that the First League is divided into two groups – A and B (based on geographical principles).   • “Kudrivka” (Kudrivka village, Korukivka district, Chernihiv region)
  • YUKSA (Tarasivka village, Fastiv district, Kyiv region)
  • “Poltava” (Poltava)
  • Metalist 1925 (Kharkiv)

Participants of the Relegation group:

  • “Nyva” Ternopil (Ternopil)
  • “Mynai” (Mynai village, Uzhhorod district, Zakarpattia region)
  • “Prykarpattia” (Ivano-Frankivsk)
  • “Podillia” (Khmelnytskyi)
  • “Viktoriya” (Sumy)
  • FSC “Mariupol” (Mariupol)
  • MFC “Metalurh” (Zaporizhzhia)
  • “Dinas” (Vyshhorod, Kyiv region)
  • “Kremin” (Kremenchuk, Poltava region)

It should be noted that based on the results of the spring part of the season, the top two teams will be promoted to the UPL, while another two will play relegation matches against the 13th and 14th placed teams of the elite league.
