A passenger bus overturned in the Zakarpattia region, leaving nine passengers hospitalized.

Early on Monday, December 30, a passenger bus PАЗ-3205 veered off the road into a ditch and overturned in the Mukachevo district of the Transcarpathian region.

This information was reported by the State Emergency Service of the Transcarpathian region.

At 07:35, the emergency service received a report about the accident on the local road between the villages of Zaluzhye and Makarovo in the Mukachevo district. According to preliminary data, the passenger bus PАЗ-3205, which was traveling on the route "Mukachevo – Barbovo," left the road and overturned.

At the time of the accident, there were 25 passengers on board, 9 of whom were hospitalized in the Mukachevo Central District Hospital named after St. Martin by emergency medical teams.

Rescuers from the 9th and 11th State Fire and Rescue Units of Mukachevo were on-site. They promptly disconnected the battery terminals to prevent a potential fire in the vehicle. Currently, law enforcement is investigating all circumstances of the accident.
