В Ивано-Франковске вынесли приговор трём участникам наркоторговли в СИЗО.

The Ivano-Frankivsk City Court found local resident Yevhen Kutyenko and Kyiv residents Hanna and Vasyl Belyankiv guilty of drug possession and trafficking. For assisting an inmate in distributing drugs in the Ivano-Frankivsk pre-trial detention center, the defendants received sentences of 8, 5, and 4 years in prison, respectively.

The verdict was delivered on December 20. It concerns a drug trafficking operation organized by an inmate of the Ivano-Frankivsk Correctional Institution No. 12. The scheme operated from January to June 2024 and involved the accused.

Yevhen Kutyenko purchased the psychotropic substance PVP and buprenorphine tablets, obtaining them through "Nova Poshta" services, and passed them to Hanna and Vasyl Belyankiv. They concealed the drugs within food, sweets, and various household items, then sent them to the detention center under different names. The organizer of the scheme sold drugs to inmates.

In total, law enforcement documented 9 deliveries of narcotic substances to the correctional facility. During the last one in June 2024, the drug trafficking participants were apprehended. In court, the defendants admitted their guilt and pleaded for leniency.

After reviewing all case materials, Judge Innessa Boliuk sentenced the previously convicted Yevhen Kutyenko to 8 years in prison, while his accomplices Hanna and Vasyl Belyankiv received 5 and 4 years of imprisonment, respectively, along with asset confiscation. An appeal may be filed against the verdict.
