Ukrainian soldiers struck a Russian command post in the Donetsk region.

On Friday, January 10, Ukrainian defenders executed a precision strike on the command point of a Russian army corps. This information was confirmed by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces managed to strike the command point of the 3rd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, located in the city of Svitlodarsk in the Donetsk region. The city is situated in the Bakhmut district, 50 km from Donetsk, 20 km from Bakhmut, and 56 km from Kramatorsk.

The press service of the General Staff did not specify the consequences of the strike, nor whether there were any wounded or killed among the occupiers.

“It should also be noted that throughout this week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out a series of strikes on facilities seized by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. All necessary measures were taken to avoid risks to the civilian population,” the press service of the General Staff reported.

Recall that on January 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck the command point of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of Russia in Khartsyzk, Donetsk region. The press service of the General Staff did not clarify the details of the consequences. However, local Telegram channels reported at least 8 explosions.
