Ukraine has recovered the bodies of 757 fallen defenders.

As a result of the repatriation efforts, the bodies of 757 fallen defenders have been returned to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

Among those returned "on shields" are:

• 451 from the Donetsk direction;
• 71 from the Bakhmut direction;
• 51 from the Vuhledar direction;
• 13 from the Luhansk direction;
• 137 from the Zaporizhzhia direction;
• 34 deceased returned from morgues on the territory of the Russian Federation.

"Investigators from law enforcement agencies, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will identify the deceased as soon as possible," the statement said.
