Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received over $100 billion in external budget financing.

This year, Ukraine has already received $27.3 billion in direct budget financing. In particular, today the state received $1.35 billion in grants from USAID as part of a World Bank project. Throughout 2024, the USA has sent Ukraine $5.2 billion out of the expected $7.8 billion.
“After the inauguration of the newly elected U.S. President Trump, the new administration intends to conduct an audit of the aid provided to support Ukraine. I believe such an audit is in the interests of both the U.S. and our country – it is one of the starting points for further development of strategic partnership relations between our nations,” Hetmantsev commented.
