Ukraine has received 100 advanced ultrasound machines from the government of South Korea.

The total donation amounts to over $12 million, of which $3 million is allocated for the purchase of ultrasound machines. The transfer of this equipment was made possible through the collaboration of the Embassy of Korea in Ukraine and with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

This state-of-the-art equipment enables a wide range of examinations. The device offers high-quality imaging and, due to its functional and technological features, allows for the diagnosis of various diseases.

The equipment has been distributed to medical institutions across 19 regions of Ukraine, including: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Chernigiv regions and the city of Kyiv.

It is important to note that the equipment is utilized in various fields of medicine, particularly in obstetrics and gynecology for monitoring pregnancies and diagnosing the reproductive system, in cardiology for heart examinations, and in pediatrics for newborn assessments. Additionally, the device can evaluate the condition of the liver, kidneys, blood vessels, joints, and other organs.
