The number of casualties resulting from the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 113 individuals. Among them is a child.

According to the report by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

"Medical assistance has been provided to 113 victims, including a 13-year-old child."

He stated that as of the morning, 59 people have been hospitalized, with 10 in serious condition.

The State Emergency Service (SES) reported that after the hostile airstrike in Zaporizhzhia, a fire in an administrative building covering an area of 800 sq. m was extinguished, along with the burning of three vehicles.

"In total, 4 administrative buildings, 27 vehicles, and a tram were damaged. Emergency rescue operations have been completed," the emergency services reported.

Recall that the day before, around 4 PM, Russian terrorists struck Zaporizhzhia with KAB bombs. Two guided aerial bombs hit residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, with the impact occurring on the central street of the residential area.

The number of injured and fatalities rapidly increased throughout the day and evening. It is also known that among the injured was a 13-year-old girl.

On January 9, a day of mourning has been declared in Zaporizhzhia.
