A plane with six people on board crashed in the United States.

A medical aircraft, a Learjet 55, crashed in the northeastern part of Philadelphia, USA, with six individuals on board. It is currently unclear whether they were able to survive.

The plane, which was en route to Springfield-Branson in Missouri, went down shortly after taking off from the airport.

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, the company that owned the aircraft, stated that it was transporting a sick child, and that the child's escort and four crew members also perished.

Following the crash, several vehicles caught fire, as reported by Fox29, citing witnesses. People nearby heard loud explosions.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation into the crash.
