In Mukachevo, water supply and sewage tariffs have increased.

Residents of the city will be charged nearly 60 UAH per cubic meter of water.

Starting from January 1, 2025, residents of Mukachevo will pay nearly 60 UAH per cubic meter of water. The new tariffs for water supply and sewage were approved during a meeting of the executive committee of the Mukachevo City Council on Monday, December 23.

As reported by the press service of the Mukachevo City Hall, the tariffs were raised due to the increase in electricity prices for the water utility. According to acting director of KP "Miskvodokanal" Andriy Kazibroda, the economically justified tariff for the population is 72 UAH per cubic meter, with the difference being compensated from the community budget.

According to the decision of the Mukachevo City Council executive committee, the new water tariffs will take effect on January 1, 2025, and will be:

Water supply: 39.12 UAH/m³ (including VAT).
Sewage: 20.76 UAH/m³ (including VAT).

For other categories of consumers (budget institutions and organizations):

Water supply: 47.28 UAH/m³ (including VAT).
Sewage: 25.08 UAH/m³ (including VAT).

It should be noted that before the tariff increase, residents of Mukachevo paid a total of 44.4 UAH (including VAT) for water supply and sewage. In 2023, approximately 4,500 families (15% of the community's residents) benefited from utility payment subsidies totaling 31.9 million UAH.
