On Wednesday, November 27, at approximately 7:00 PM, a load-bearing wall collapsed on the first floor of a four-story residential building located at 2 Peremys'ka Street. The press service of the Lviv City Council reported that there were no injuries or casualties.
The area where the wall collapsed is non-residential. “There have been no previous complaints from the residents of this building to city services. The issue had not been visually apparent. Experts are investigating what caused this emergency situation,” explained Oksana Pryhoda, head of the Frankivsk District Administration.
Residents of the building have been offered complimentary temporary accommodation in a hotel. Currently, all city services are inspecting the building to determine whether it is safe for residents to continue living there.
