В Липецкой области России упала запущенная по Украине «высокоточная» российская ракета.

In the Yelets district of the Lipetsk region in Russia, a "stage of an aviation missile system" has fallen, reports the press service of the local government, as cited by The Moscow Times.

According to their information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident; however, power outages were recorded in several localities.

The publication "News of Lipetsk" states that on the morning of February 1, residents of one village heard a "loud rumble," after which electricity and water disappeared from their homes, and there were also issues with mobile communication.

According to the Telegram channel Baza, the outages affected about 540 houses in six localities.

On the night of February 1, the Russian armed forces launched a massive missile strike on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense later stated that the attack was carried out using "high-precision long-range weapons."

Baza publishes video footage of the possible consequences of the missile’s fall in the Yelets district. The footage shows a large crater in a field, which likely formed as a result of the munition's impact.

According to "Ukrenergo," the missile strikes on February 1 damaged energy infrastructure facilities, leading to emergency power outages in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kirovohrad regions. In Kharkiv and Poltava, the destruction of multi-story residential buildings was recorded, with the number of civilian casualties reaching seven.

Russian munitions have fallen in Russia before. For instance, on January 2, 2024, one of the Russian missiles launched at Ukraine fell in the village of Petropavlivka in the Voronezh region, damaging several houses. The Russian Ministry of Defense called the incident an "emergency" descent of the munition.

At the end of December, debris from another shell was found in the Talovsky district of the Voronezh region. And on January 23, a Russian "smart bomb" fell in the Belgorod region near the village of Velyki Kulbaky.
