In Korts, a 22-year-old Infiniti driver tragically lost his life after colliding with a power pole.

In the early hours of November 10, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the town of Korets, Rivne district, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old driver of a car and injuries to his passenger. Currently, law enforcement is investigating all the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As reported by the regional police press service, the accident took place around 3:20 AM on Kyivska Street in Korets. Preliminary information indicates that the 22-year-old driver of the Infiniti, a resident of the village of Zhadkivka, lost control, crashed into a concrete power pole, and then veered off into a ditch.

“The driver died at the scene from the injuries sustained. The 21-year-old passenger was diagnosed with polytrauma, including fractures of the collarbone, scapula, and femur,” police noted.

An investigation has been launched into the violation of traffic safety rules that led to the death of the victim, with a pre-trial investigation initiated under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
