In Kharkiv, two residents were injured due to a drone attack on the night of Tuesday, January 28. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
During the night, Russian forces struck a civilian enterprise in the Novobavar district of Kharkiv with a UAV. As a result of the attack, a large fire broke out over an area of 1500 m2. The strike occurred around 00:35, and as of 04:16, efforts to extinguish the fire were still ongoing.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, also reported that a gas pipeline and five vehicles were damaged in the Novobavar district. Two individuals experienced acute stress reactions – a 59-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl.
Additionally, in the Rogan territorial community of the Kharkiv district, a private house and garage were destroyed due to the crash of a UAV, injuring a 62-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man.
In the village of Shestakove in the Starosaltiv community of the Chuhuiv district, a private house was destroyed due to the impact of a "Geran-2" UAV.
It is worth noting that the Defense Forces destroyed 57 Russian drones that the occupiers launched against Ukraine on the night of January 27.
In Khmelnytskyi region, a house was damaged due to a Russian drone attack. In Ternopil region, near district towns, air defense forces shot down two drones.
That night, critical infrastructure in Prykarpattia was also under attack.
