As a result of an accident involving a tourist bus in eastern Egypt, a citizen of Ukraine has been injured. Currently, information regarding the condition of the injured person is being clarified. This was reported on November 10 by the publication "RBK-Ukraine," citing a comment from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, the accident involving the tourist bus occurred near the city of Ras Sedr on Saturday, November 9.
"41 people were injured, including a Ukrainian citizen born in 1984. All the injured were taken to the city hospital of Ras Sedr. Consuls are clarifying information regarding the condition of the injured Ukrainian", the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented.
They added that there are no fatalities as a result of the accident. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, and the case is being monitored by the Ukrainian embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Additionally, the news site Cairo24 previously reported that a passenger bus overturned in the Egyptian city of Ras Sedr, resulting in injuries to tourists from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
