A well-known blogger, Anna Zhuk, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Poltava region.

As a result of the accident, three more individuals were injured, including a child.

On Friday, January 24, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the Kyiv-Kharkiv road. As a result of the crash, a passenger in a Lexus vehicle lost her life, while three others sustained injuries. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Poltava region. Authorities have not disclosed the name of the deceased; however, several Ukrainian bloggers have indicated that the victim was blogger Anna Zhuk from Kharkiv, more commonly known as Annet.

The accident took place around 08:40 near the village of Zasulya in the Lubny territorial community of Poltava region. Preliminary investigations by law enforcement revealed that the driver of the 1999 Lexus collided with a Renault Premium truck that was parked on the roadside. As a result of the accident, a 39-year-old woman died, and three others were injured.

“As a result of the traffic accident, the 39-year-old passenger of the Lexus SUV succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The drivers of the truck (born in 1983) and the SUV, as well as a minor passenger in the Lexus (born in 2015), were hospitalized with injuries to the Lubny Intensive Care Hospital,” the police statement said.

Several Ukrainian bloggers reported that the accident claimed the life of well-known blogger Anna Zhuk, and her husband was driving the vehicle.

“Anna’s husband was behind the wheel and attempted to overtake in the right lane, where a stationary vehicle was located. Anna died instantly, while the child in the back seat suffered either a broken arm or leg,” wrote blogger Zhenya Zub.

Anna Zhuk was a mother of three and a popular blogger, with 370,000 followers on her Instagram account. As writes the publication "Focus," the blogger was known for her active civic stance, supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and helped those affected by the Russian invasion.
