Additionally, he mentioned that Trump needs to discard and erase all past actions, that he won't throw anyone in jail or persecute them, as he doesn’t have such powers.
This point, the expert emphasizes, is interesting because it suggests that Lukashenko is essentially hinting at Putin, who does have the authority to imprison and persecute. In other words, he notes, this is Lukashenko subtly accusing Putin of the murder of Navalny.
“By the way, it’s a pity that Trump didn’t appoint Lukashenko to at least some position. I believe that after the Ministry of Health with the main conspiracy theorist of America, after the Pentagon led by an actor, well, a television host, and after a woman was appointed as the head of intelligence, who some believe is working for the Russian intelligence (well, I’m not sure, I don’t have information on that yet, forgive me), Lukashenko would fit right into that company,” - concludes Mikhail Sheitelman.
