The "Diia" state services platform will introduce services for veterans and families of fallen defenders. This was announced on Friday, January 24, by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
It is noted that beta testing of two services has now begun. The "Diia" application will allow users to obtain the status of a person with a disability due to the war. Additionally, it will be possible to register as a family member of a fallen defender. These innovations are expected to minimize bureaucracy.
"Veterans and families of fallen defenders will have a convenient way to submit applications for obtaining their status, while authorized personnel from local structural units responsible for veteran policy will have an electronic cabinet for processing such applications," stated the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Natalia Kalmykova.
The ministry emphasized that the digitization of services and accessibility for veterans and their relatives is a priority direction.
It is worth noting that starting from December 1, 2024, mobilization reservations will have to be made through the "Diia" portal.
In October 2024, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced that six new services would be added to "Diia." These include services for entrepreneurs, "Diia.Signature" for legal entities, the ability to report poor mobile connectivity, and more.
