In Chernivtsi, a list of locations for disposing of Christmas trees has been released.

In Chernivtsi, the company responsible for city cleaning has set up special containers for disposing of used Christmas trees. There are 24 such locations scattered throughout various neighborhoods in the city. Additionally, these sites can also be used for disposing of bulky waste.

The company emphasized that it is strictly prohibited to throw Christmas trees into regular trash bins, as they may damage them, as reported by “Molodiy Bukovynets”. Furthermore, placing trees or pines near waste collection sites is not allowed, as this can lead to the formation of illegal dumps. Residents may face fines for the improper disposal of such waste.

Christmas trees are allowed to be disposed of in containers designated for bulky waste, which are located on the following streets:
