In the Belgorod region, a drone attack has ignited an oil depot.

On the night of November 12, a drone attacked an oil depot in the Starooskolsky urban district of the Belgorod region. This was reported by the Governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

On the night of November 12, an explosion was heard in the Belgorod region. The drone struck the oil depot, causing one of the tanks to catch fire. The governor noted that the fire was successfully extinguished.

“Ten fire crews were on-site and quickly extinguished the blaze. There were no casualties,” he added.

Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko, wrote that explosions were heard in the city of Stary Oskol. As a result of the attack, the fire at the oil depot lasted several hours.

“Around 2:15 AM, our drones accurately targeted the Starooskol oil depot. At least one of the tanks caught fire, which lasted until nearly 5 AM,” the message stated.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a total of 13 drones were eliminated by air defense forces during the night, including:

• 9 over the territory of Belgorod region,
• 2 over the territory of Bryansk region,
• 2 over the territory of Kursk region.

Explosions in Russia

On the night of November 9, drones attacked the Alexinsky chemical plant in the Tula region of Russia. This facility produces gunpowder and munitions for the Russian army.

On the night of November 10, local authorities in Moscow and Bryansk reported a drone attack. Later, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the targeting of military warehouses of the Russian Armed Forces and a fire on the territory of a military unit.

On November 11, it became known that the Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter at an airfield in the Moscow region.
