The deadline for mandatory military-medical commission (VLC) evaluations for those classified as temporarily unfit can be extended by another four months.
This was reported by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the President's Office.
According to her, a relevant bill will soon be registered in the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on National Security and Defense.
The final deadline for mandatory VLC evaluations for those classified as temporarily unfit is planned to be moved to early June 2025. At the same time, this obligation will not apply to those temporarily unfit who are under 25 years old.
As a reminder, according to the order of the Ministry of Defense No. 402, "temporarily unfit" men aged 18-60 must undergo a repeat military-medical commission by February 4, 2025.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that referrals for VLC could be obtained through the "Reserv+” application. Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohorenko clarified that this option will be available starting January 31.
