The young man was riding a motorcycle, violated traffic regulations, and collided with a car, resulting in severe injuries to his passenger.

The Peremyshlyany District Court of Lviv Oblast has issued a verdict for a teenager involved in a traffic accident. The student was riding a motorcycle with a minor friend, violated traffic rules, and collided with a car, resulting in severe injuries to his passenger. The court imposed a suspended sentence on the offender and required him to read the book "Adults Unexpectedly."

As stated in the verdict, which was published in the court register in February 2025, the accident occurred on July 13, 2024, in the village of Korosno near Peremyshlyany. The underage student of the Peremyshlyany separate institution of general secondary education I-III levels was operating a Geon X-Road Light 200 motorcycle and was traveling with his minor friend. The motorcycle driver attempted to overtake a Ford Mondeo but did not choose a safe speed, crossed a narrow solid line, and collided with the vehicle. The minor passenger on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries in the accident.

In court, the teenager operating the motorcycle admitted his guilt in causing the accident and confirmed that he had violated traffic rules. The victim stated that he had no claims against the accused.

This case was presided over by Judge Roman Borynyak, who reviewed all materials and positions of the parties involved. It is known that the accused is currently in the 11th grade. The judge found the teenager guilty of causing the traffic accident, sentencing him to 3 years in prison with a one-year driving ban; however, he was released from incarceration, given a one-year probationary period. Additionally, the judge ordered him to read the book by Serhiy Hrydin " Adults Unexpectedly." The verdict can still be appealed.
