The Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has upheld the first-instance decision regarding the confiscation of assets belonging to Russian billionaire Myron Horilovskyi.

This is reported by the Ministry of Justice.

The state has confiscated assets of the Ukrainian part of the "Polyplastic Group," specifically:

  • 93% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Eurotrubplast Trading House";
  • 93% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Kalush Pipe Plant";
  • 93% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Rubizhne Pipe Plant";
  • 100% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Polymerteplo – Ukraine";
  • 10% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Ukrainian Polymer Group";
  • 51% stake in the charter capital of LLC "Cordflex."

It is noted that Horilovskyi's enterprises in Russia are recognized as having a "significant impact on the industries of production and trade." Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, these factories have been assisting the Russian Federation in replacing goods that are unavailable due to sanctions.

Parties involved. Myron Horilovskyi is the owner of the conglomerate "Polyplastic Group," which comprises around 30 enterprises in the territories of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. According to Forbes, companies owned by Horilovskyi's son participated in engineering works for the construction of the Kerch Strait Bridge.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Ukraine aims to nationalize six polymer enterprises owned by Russians. This lawsuit pertains to the companies of the "Polyplastic Group," which includes two pipe plants.
