The U.S. aims to resolve the conflict in Ukraine within 100 days of Trump's inauguration.

Previously, Trump stated that he could end the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours of his inauguration.
США планируют решить вопрос войны в Украине в течение 100 дней после инаугурации Трампа.

The administration of the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump aims to find a solution to the Russian-Ukrainian war within 100 days of the new president's inauguration. This was stated on January 8 by Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, during a broadcast on Fox News.

Keith Kellogg hopes to find a solution to Russia's war against Ukraine "in the near future." Although he did not specify any concrete proposals, he outlined a rough timeframe for the new administration to address the issue of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

"I would like to set a personal and professional goal. I would say, let’s establish 100 days," he stated.

According to Kellogg, Donald Trump wants to end the war "as soon as possible." At the same time, the special envoy emphasized that the U.S. president does not intend to assist the aggressor nation.

"People need to understand: he is not trying to give anything to Putin or the Russians; he is actually trying to preserve Ukraine and its sovereignty. And he will ensure that it is fair and just," said Keith Kellogg.

When asked by journalists about Joe Biden's presidency, he replied that "his biggest mistake" was the refusal to engage in talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the special envoy, Donald Trump is willing to communicate with Putin.

Interestingly, Donald Trump had previously stated that he could end Russia's war against Ukraine within 24 hours after his election, and later, after his inauguration on January 20. However, he no longer specifies such a timeframe for resolving the war issue. Nevertheless, the elected president recently criticized the Biden administration's policy regarding the war in Ukraine due to its stance on NATO.

Recall that on December 30, the U.S. announced a military aid package for Ukraine worth nearly $2.5 billion. This package will include ammunition for air defense and drones, artillery shells, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, as well as grenades, small arms ammunition, and spare parts.

Despite the Biden administration's increased activity before the new president's inauguration, there are growing concerns that the U.S. may not be able to deliver the promised aid to Ukraine due to Trump's rise to power. It is worth noting that Donald Trump has repeatedly hinted at the possibility of limiting aid to Ukraine.
