Meteorologists in Lviv have recorded the fourth temperature record for January.

On January 28, the maximum air temperature in Lviv reached +14.9°. The last time it was this warm on this day was in 2016, when the thermometer rose to +9.4°.

It is noteworthy that this is the second consecutive day that a temperature record has been recorded in Lviv. On January 27, the thermometer rose to +12.6°. This result exceeded the long-term maximum temperature for this day. Back in 1995, the temperature on January 27 was +9°.

On Wednesday, January 29, the weather in Lviv region will be cloudy with clear spells and no significant precipitation. The wind will be from the southwest at 9-14 m/s, with gusts reaching 15-20 m/s in some areas. The air temperature is expected to be between 9-14° warm. In Lviv, temperatures are forecasted to be around 11-13° warm. According to meteorologists, the coldest night recorded was in 1963 with -22° frost, while the warmest day was in 2002, when the maximum air temperature reached -10.3° warm.

As reported by ZAXID.NET from the Lviv Hydro-Meteorological Center, it is expected to get colder in Lviv at the beginning of February, along with snowfall.
