Air defense forces shot down 88 drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.

On the night of November 29, 2024, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using 132 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and unidentified drones from the directions of – Orel, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As of 09:00, air defense has shot down 88 enemy drones in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions," the statement reads.

The Air Forces noted that 41 drones were location-lost, likely due to the active countermeasures of the Defense Forces' electronic warfare, and 1 drone returned to Russia.

"As a result of the Russian attack, infrastructure, vehicles, private and multi-apartment buildings were damaged in several regions of Ukraine, and assistance is being provided to the victims," the command emphasized.
