On the night of November 12, the Russian army launched an attack on Ukraine using drones, aerial bombs, and various types of missiles. A total of 110 "Shaheds," 2 guided aerial missiles X-59/69, 1 S-300 guided missile, and an unknown number of guided aerial bombs and unidentified drones were utilized.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air defense operated in 10 regions: Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv. As of 11:00, the confirmed downing of 46 drones has been reported. Another 60 UAVs have been location-lost, and 2 have exited Ukraine’s airspace towards Belarus.
The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported that there were no hits within the region. However, as a result of the downing, 10 private residential buildings, a garage, vehicles, fences, and roadway surfaces were damaged. Additionally, windows, doors, and roofs in the buildings were shattered.
The Air Force clarified that the enemy attacked Kharkiv with an S-300 missile, with guided aviation munitions targeting Chernihiv, and aerial bombs hitting Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
