Air defense forces have destroyed 50 Russian drones across seven regions of Ukraine.

On the night of Sunday, November 24, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using Shahed strike drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified types. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the night, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 73 drones launched from the Oryol and Bryansk regions. The air defense managed to shoot down 50 UAVs in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Zhytomyr regions.

Another 19 drones were lost in location, likely due to active electronic warfare from the Defense Forces.

As a result of the drone attack, air alerts in Kyiv lasted for over 3 hours in total. Ukrainian forces detected and neutralized more than a dozen drones that posed a threat to the capital. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or destruction.

It is worth noting that on the night of Saturday, November 23, Russian forces once again attacked the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, one man was killed. Additionally, some warehouses in the regional center sustained partial damage.
