Defender of Kyiv's "Dynamo," Oleksandr Tymchyk, will not be able to assist the Ukrainian national team in the November Nations League matches, reports the official UAF website. The 27-year-old defender has already left the national team's camp, which is preparing for matches against Georgia and Albania in Belek, Turkey.
In his place, the coaching staff of the "blue-yellow" team decided to call up a complete debutant – Oleksiy Sych from "Rukh." Notably, the representative of the Lviv club has become the first player from his team to join the national squad.
As a reminder, earlier Rebrov had to call up Vitaliy Buyalsky instead of Viktor Tsygankov, but Dynamo's captain did not arrive at the national team's camp due to injury, and Dmytro Riznyk was called up instead of Andriy Lunin.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian national team has crucial matches ahead in the 2025 Nations League. On Saturday, November 16, the "blue-yellows" will play against Georgia at the "AdjaraBet Arena" in Batumi, and on Tuesday, November 19, they will meet Albania at the "Air Albania" stadium in Tirana.
After four rounds, Serhii Rebrov's team is currently at the bottom of the Group B1 standings, having accumulated 4 points. Leading the group with 7 points is the Czech Republic, while Georgia and Albania share the second and third positions with 6 points each.
