Special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine conducted an operation to eliminate a Russian infantry group that was preparing to assault Ukrainian positions in an unspecified direction. Using FPV drones, the SBU fighters neutralized the Russians, reported on Saturday, November 16, via the SBU press service.
The released video shows the occupiers' vehicles moving along a road—likely to assault the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The SBU displayed footage from strike drones that targeted the Russian vehicles.
“It was truly a masterful operation by the FPV drone operators of the SBU's Special Operations Center 'A'. They stopped the enemy infantry before it could launch an attack on the positions of our comrades in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” – stated the SBU press service.
The SBU did not specify the losses incurred by the Russians as a result of the drone attack. It is also unclear where exactly the drone strike on the occupiers took place.
Recall that on November 10, the SSO showed video footage of an operation behind enemy lines in the Kursk region. The footage reveals how masked Ukrainian servicemen captured occupiers who were hiding in underground bunkers.
