According to the expert, the situation in Kupiansk has become more complicated, as the enemy is conducting a flanking operation, attempting to encircle the city. However, he notes that there is nothing new or particularly distinctive from other fronts in the Russian offensive tactics; the Russians are attempting to act in three directions, while our forces continue to conduct a defensive operation and repel numerous enemy attacks.

“Meanwhile, there have been positive developments from the Kharkiv direction, specifically from the Third Separate Assault Brigade. The soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade reported on an offensive operation in the Kharkiv region and noted that Ukrainian servicemen managed to advance despite the enemy's numerical superiority, successfully capturing a battalion area of defense held by Russian occupiers, which is very significant,” reports Alexander Musienko.

According to him, the soldiers were able to advance nearly 2 km into the frontline, which is good news, so we can only wish the Third Assault Brigade and other units to continue in the same spirit. Meanwhile, the expert adds, fighting continues in Volchansk, Kharkiv region, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain control over the situation.

“The situation is challenging in the Kurakhove direction. Our soldiers are heroically and selflessly continuing a defensive operation aimed at inflicting maximum losses on the enemy, restraining the advance of Russian troops, and preventing breakthroughs and collapses of the frontline, as well as the breaching of the Ukrainian defense line on such a scale that would allow the enemy to exploit the situation and infiltrate the rear of the Ukrainian grouping in this area. Our soldiers are actively engaged,” – explains Alexander Musienko.
