The Defense Forces have destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter at an airfield in the Moscow region. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Monday, November 11.
It is noted that the Russian assault helicopter Mi-24 was destroyed in the early hours of Sunday, November 10. It was stationed at the "Klin-5" airfield in the Moscow region. "The GUR MO reminds that for every war crime committed against Ukraine, the occupier will face just punishment,” the Ukrainian intelligence report states.
The Mi-24 helicopter (unofficially known as "Crocodile") is an attack helicopter designed to support infantry. Its serial production began in the Soviet Union in 1971. It can accommodate three crew members and up to eight paratroopers, with a maximum speed of 335 km/h. The helicopter is capable of carrying gun and cannon armaments.
Additionally, as of Monday, November 11, Russian aviation has lost 329 helicopters and 369 aircraft since the start of the full-scale invasion, according to reports.
Recall that on the night of November 10, Defense Forces drones attacked Moscow and an ammunition depot in the Bryansk region. As a result of the strikes in Bryansk, at least eight explosions and localized fires were recorded. It is noteworthy that the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down allegedly 70 drones in the skies over Russia.
